Can I deduct my rent as a work expense (work out of province)?

Hi:
I don't know if anyone can answer this for me (or if I am in the correct forum to ask), but I live in Ontario (working from my home each Monday and Friday), but work in Quebec (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday of each week). Can I claim my rent in Montreal as a business expense?

Need more information. What type of work is it?
Are you a salaried employee, comissioned sales, self employed?
Do you claim your home office expenses? Do you claim your travel to Montreal.
Why not move?

You can claim a portion of lodging regardless of whether it is owned or rented against contract revenues. But if the expenses are something that your employee should be paying, then it will not be allowed.
