With REITs in europe selling off, I decided to double-down on Inovalis this week. Though, part of the rapid decline is also due to the dividend-cut. I avoided buying more in the recent past because it seemed obvious to me the cut was going to happen. Now that everyone seems 'surprised', I grabbed a few more LOTs worth.

This is still risky, and I expect with the current war in Europe, and another war in the Asian theater soon, which seems pretty much inevitable at this point, the sell off in Europe REITs will continue, in that case I will keep doubling down again.

The worst outcome is that the Russians make due on their nuclear threats, but in that case we all die a very horrible death anyhow, so I'm not going to worry about the long-tail risk.

I am open for thoughts on this buy... yes it is very speculative.

^ I think a number of forum members own this one too. Other than this European REIT that's listed on the TSX, what other European REITs are listed? This one seems to be concentrated on a few properties in Germany. I own a tiny amount since I'm too lazy to do my homework investigating European REITs aka a beaver throwing a dart on the board.

The company's investor relations page is nicely laid out. The only problem I have found is that one has to convert to home currency. I don't do this with USD companies so this can be a bit of a challenge. Finding reports in CAD or US can be a bit of a search. IIR DRG.UN was based in Canada so reported in CAD. I do not hold ERE.UN nor have I so perhaps other members can direct you to where that information be found better than I.

That's what I'm afraid of.

The EPS for any company is readily published everywhere. You don't even have to visit the company's own published data because they are all available at Yahoo, Morningside, any of your broker's research and quote sections.

But if so many analysts tell you for REITs you should be looking at FFOs or AFFOs per share, shouldn't those be compiled and accessed from some standardized central place as well, like Yahoo, Morningside and your broker?
