Hello,
I recently shifted to Canada from U.S and wanted to setup Automatic Investing into Vanguard S & P 500 Index fund. However I am not aware which Brokerage account allows me to setup 'Automatic Investing' (or SIP) specifically in Vanguard S &P 500 Index fund.

From Vanguard Canada this is the list but not sure which one is relevant to what I would like to do. Questrade doesn't do SIP as far as I know.

Not sure if any of them will do that.

But I use Questrade. I think they're excellent. Good customer service and they offer commish-free ETF purchases.

You can contribute to your account automatically from your bank each month by setting up recurring Bill Pay.

All that's left is to login and do a Buy order, it's pretty simple.

You can also use getpassiv.com, link it to your Questrade account, set up an allocation and it will rebalance for you as you add cash to your Questrade account.

I'm thinking of opening a stock/etf TFSA, and I'm thinking Questrade might be a good call.

How do you transfer money.
Right now I basically make bill payments from my checking account to my RRSPs.

Can I do the same thing for a TFSA contribution, what about withdrawals?

Yeah I've been really happy with Questrade for long-term investing since most ETF purchases are commission-free. I make bill payments to my questrade account. You can also set up PAD if you want, with frequencies from Once, Weekly, Biweekly or Monthly. I prefer my money transfers to be a push so I have recurring bill payment set up.

I've been using them for a TFSA and spousal RRSP (my spouse and I are in different tax brackets and likely will continue to be at retirement time)
