Hi,
Apparently if you own a house you can lookup your property assessment value and you can also lookup your surrounding neighbourhood's assessment value.

Does anyone know if someone who doesn't own a home, can they lookup property assessment value of houses?

Thank you,

Yves

I think you need a property roll # to login.

^ Apart from the above link option, you could "physically" check into cityhall and ask for their "encyclopedias (aka entire city)" of property roll/assessments.

However, not sure that department (in TO that is) open yet during these Covid times.

You can look up property assessment in BC too. Just punch in an address on their website, then you can scroll down, see a map and actually click on any property and look at the assessment values. Useful when looking at other areas if you want to see assessed values. Not that they mean much, the place next door to me just sold for $650k over assessment in a matter of days.

Housesigma will show you sale prices. If you want MPAC assessments, check out their website:

Even when you own a home, they only give you a few selected other properties in your neighbourhood that you can view the MPAC value of. You can't view them all.
That's not accurate. Click on search my neighborhood, enter the address or search on the map, etc. You can see pretty much all the values, with the exception of homes designated as "farm', etc.

Wow, you're right. I think they must have changed it, I have strong memories from like 10 years ago wanting to see my neighbour's values but only being able to see selected ones. Guess one needs to update themselves before posting things, haha. Sorry about that!
