I'm a magazine writer doing a piece about life settlements (sometimes called death bonds). Does anyone know much about these products? Or better, does anyone know somebody who has tried to sell their life insurance policy for a settlement, or wanted to?

Well...life settlements are prohibited in most Canadian provinces, so you likely are not going to get a lot of response to this query...you could PM The Wealthy Boomer directly; he has written about viaticals and life settlements in the past.
