In times of extreme market volatility, staying calm and thinking long-term are sensible decisions that investors can make to use time to their advantage.This current market situation is not new to us. You would think it's that simple, but I've seen so many people panicking or "going to cash" during this mild downturn that I've lost all faith in people's ability to make rational decisions. This includes some bloggers and youtubers I follow, who were preaching all the common-sense investing principles during the good times, but were not able to keep it together when things got dicey. But that's fine, because I've been on the buying side of their trades...
