During my stay at Montreal until August 2020, I received advanced childcare support for my daughter from the QC government. Then I moved to Halifax, NS, with a new job.
A few months ago, I got an RL-19 slip from QC government stating that I need to report the amount received in my income tax return. Then came the tax season. Recently, I submitted the taxes for the year 2020 using StudioTax software and NS as my current province. However, I was not able to submit the QC advanced payment due to these reasons - (a) Line 441 was connected to QC specific forms, which are not available for NS, and (b) software will not allow me to connect to multiple provinces. Does anybody have any similar experience of filing the advanced childcare expenses while moving outside of QC? If yes, it will be great if you can share your experience. Thanks in advance.
