Hello,

I would like to set up a synthetic DRIP within a TFSA and I have several questions:

1) I can't find any discussion of synthetic DRIPs on Scotia iTrade's website. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience about this, within a TFSA or otherwise?

2) For DRIPs that offer a discount, is it possible to get this discount with a synthetic DRIP set up via a discount broker?

You should call scotia.

TD will set up the synthetic drip, but only for whole shares. And they will honor drip discounts too.
