I finished the CSC last Summer but I also required it for employment.
If you need it for your job/career then yes as it is a must for most Finance/Banking fields.
If you're considering it just for personal knowledge then I'd say no. It does go over the basics of investing and securities but you can also find that on Google for free.
Alternatively try to buy a second-hand copy of the textbooks and save yourself the $1,000+ for the full course.
