Baby Week Giveaway at The Canadian Finance Blog!

5129 Views 5 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Berubeland
Since our first baby was born just last week, this week The Canadian Finance Blog will feature all baby-related articles! As first time parents, the wife and I did quite a bit of reading and research and I thought sharing some information might help other expectant parents or those thinking of having children soon. So check back each day this week for posts to help new parents deal with changes to their personal finances!

Unfortunately I can’t hand out cigars to all the readers at The Canadian Finance Blog, but I do have a great giveaway for moms and dads to be! Enter to win one of two sets of No-Cry Solution books, written by Elizabeth Pantley!

To enter, leave a comment (use valid email address, it will not be published) in any article this week. Each day will give you one more chance to win!

After leaving at least one comment so that I know you’re interested in these books, you can get bonus entries by doing either (or both) of the following:

* Subscribe to The Canadian Finance Blog email, where you’ll get each article, 5 days a week with no spam emails. If you’re already subscribed and leave a comment, you will automatically get this bonus entry!
* Follow The Canadian Finance Blog on Twitter and re-tweet any of our tweets during the week!

This contest for a set of five No-Cry Solution books is open to anyone in Canada or the United States. The deadline for entries is Friday, October 16th at 11:59PM MST and the winners will be contacted by email on Saturday. There will be two winners, chosen with a random number generator from Random.org.

I thought I could get a free baby

Congrats !!!!
Sprocket go away please.

I hope things are going well in your first week of parenthood. :) You will sleep again I promise.

Then your baby will hijack all your gadgets.... remotes, iphones, laptops etc. I just got my son a video player in the hopes that he will leave my iphone alone or at least not scream "cookie" at the top of his lungs when he sees me answer a call. Yep I play him YouTube clips of Cookie Monster when we are at the checkout now he wants to fool around with it all the time.... I decided to get him a video player yesterday when he was deleting some of my contacts:eek:

Just take the time to really grok your child. It is so worth it :D
We actually bought a remote from Toys R Us to give him. He was so rabid about ours. My hubby was worried about the possible toxins in our cheap chinese remotes. Not exactly approved for baby chewing. The remote we bought made sounds but it only worked for a couple weeks because his saliva shorted out the electronics behind the plastic buttons. hubby tried and failed to fix it but it was all corroded.

Also you may want to try a program called Alphababy. This is a program where they can whack away on a keyboard and it says the letters. It also makes shapes. My favorite price... free
