A single quote in which moving to Bitcoin as official currency is proposed would be appreciated.

I think we can both agree that PP would not be a good finance minister. Political science and commerce degree are only slightly better than russian studies degree for that position
Some quotes. These were before bitcoin fell from $68,000 to $23,000, and other crypto tokens crashed, so he doesn't like to talk about crypto anymore.

Government is ruining the Canadian dollar, so Canadians should have the freedom to use other money, such as bitcoin," Poilievre said Monday.
"Canada needs less financial control for politicians and bankers and more financial freedom for the people. That includes freedom to own and use crypto, tokens, smart contracts and decentralized finance."

"Choice and competition can give Canadians better money and financial products. Not only that, but it can also let Canadians opt-out of inflation with the ability to opt-in to crypto currencies. It's time for Canadians to take back control of their money and their lives by making Canada the freest country on earth," Poilievre said.

Yeah. Why wouldn't Canadians be allowed to invest in or use whatever means of transactions they find most convenient? Since when is choice wrong?

I repeat the question since it still wasn't answered:

But what about when Jean Charest becomes Liberal leader?
I think he would have a better chance of becoming PM in the Liberal party than with CPC. I think JT's time is past, and he has overstayed his welcome with his best quality being his hair. Jean Charest would be a much better leader of the Liberal party.

Funny, when the economy does well under the Conservatives "Politicians dont control the economy!"

Now thats its doing well under the Liberals "Look how awesome Freeland/Trudeau are!"

Ignoring the fact that all this economic growth is just a rebound from the government literally shutting down the economy.

Meanwhile T2 continues to spend spend spend.

Actually, budget surpluses in first 3 quarters of the year are pretty much meaningless.
Vast majority of spending and deficit is usually quarter 4. Have to look at the entire year.
But anyone with basis knowledge of economic metrics is aware of that

Yeah, the guy racked up more debt than all previous premiers combined, ran highest deficits in history even before pandemic, and people are talking of surpluses?

Jesus, the stupidity is astounding

Kind of a joke. Still a $ 53B deficit forecast for 2022. A $327 B deficit in 2020 and $113B in 2021. Debt/gdp is 117% worst in history and Greece like levels.

Debt is not declining. It is set to increase $53B this year. In fact they don't have plans to balance anytime in the future.

PBO is wondering where $200B went that had nothing to do w covid too.

Debt is declining.

Canada has coveted Fitch AA + rating.

Federal debt to GDP mid 40% range.

Canada is on the right path.

3/4 statements you made here are factually and verifiably wrong

The only thing you got right is the Fitch rating.
However, for some reason you didn't mention that when Liberals were taking over the rating was AAA, so it got worse under current regime

Where in those quotes does it say BTC only goes up forever saggy brain

It says Canadians should have the freedom to use other money, such as BTC. Very simple concept is hard for a saggy brain as usual

Inflation is not good for GICs

First 6 months of 2022 produced a $5 billion surplus. How is the debt increasing ?

Bitcoin isn't money, but Pierre wants to change that. Great idea......let the criminals and scammers run our sovereign currency. What could go wrong ?
