Have about 10 years timeline. What US stocks/ETFs would you recommend for a risk factor of say 4/10 :)
Want to slowly buy in during this correcction/recession.

Also about another 80k CND cash looking to go somewhere. What ETFs are you looking at...safer companies that have an upside in the next few years......

Thanks so much......

For individual companies, I would definitely look at banks. Some of our banks are shooting out crazy dividends right now. A part of that is no doubt because of a very real fall in future earnings, but the other portion of it is due to panic selling too. For ETFs, if your time horizon is that long, why not consider index funds?

Here is an awards list of the some of the best ETFs in 2019. http://www.fundgradeawards.com/2019/FundGrade-Awards-2019.aspx

Analysts are recommending to look at good quality companies or ETFs. For Canada, First Asset Canadian Quality Index ETF is good FQC. For US, CI Wisdom Tree High Quality US Dividend DQD. They weight by quality and dividend growth vs market cap. Or BMO US Quality ZQC is good (heavy weighting in tech)

For EAFE, CI Wisdom Tree High Quality Intl Dividend DQI or low vol BMO low vol Intl ZLD.

A good US bank ETF is ZUB US banks CAD hedged or for global, Dynamic Global Financial ETF DXF.

A great tech ETF is EARK ARK Disruptive Innovation technologies (AARK in the US) . FHQ First Trust Alphadex US Technology Sector is also a good balanced mix of tech companies by size and sector.
