In the past talking to my friends about money has been rather like looking through their underwear drawer. There are certain things you just don't want to know about people. I generally lose a lot of respect for people especially for living beyond their means.
Most people find me well uhmmm crazy in some of my ideas like not financing cars and saving and coupon clipping and cutting up credit cards etc.
